I replaced all of the exterior wood with new pieces cut out of mahogany. The mahogany anchor platform/sampson post is one of my favorite projects--I didn't have any problems making or mounting them! I have new stainless stanchions and bases ready to put on. I had replaced the original bronze stanchions, but several started leaking last year. One was bent. I decided to replace them. But I'm keeping the bronze stern pulpit!

I made the mainsail cover from a SailRite kit, and made the tiller cover and winch covers to match. The wood was added to the sliding companionway hatch during a cold January.
