The marine toilet is a Lavac Popular that uses a Henderson diaphragm pump--one of the best purchases I've made so far for this boat. This toilet is worth every dollar I spent on it, and then some. This fall I will be running a hose from the bilge to a Y-valve in the line between the toilet and the pump. With a flip of the lever, I'll be able to pump out the bilge using head pump. (I have another Henderson diaphragm pump mounted in the cockpit, so I can pump out the bilge from there as well.) Currently, I have no holding tank.

A shot from the v-berth looking aft. The porthole mirror was also on the boat when I boat her. I refinished it and reinstalled it. The wood on the bulkhead (behind the mirror) is actually engineered laminate flooring I had originally purchased for the cabin sole. After I decided to do the sole with African iroko, I was trying to figure out what to do with the laminate flooring and...well...I think it turned out pretty nice.

I thought about putting in a sink opposite the head, but decided for me, it wasn't worth it. I have storage for blankets, safety harnesses, etc. behind the large door. The drawer is for hats and gloves. Towels are located above, behind the smaller door. And the horizontal piece provides access to an area where I can hang up foul weather gear. It's all well-ventilated.
