The handrails under the main cabin windows are held in place by large ss flat head screws from outside. The handrails have much longer bases then standard (about 100 mm of surface contact on each segment) so I was able to put two screws into each base. First I drilled through the cabin liner and cabin side, countersunk the outside holes so that the screws would be slightly below flush, and covered the heads with epoxy filler and paint. I can hang on these with my full weight at sea and they don't move. I would not try it with the standard narrow base handrails. You can make your own though.
