DasBoot, #30 Repairing a crack in the false keel

Keel joint was dished 1/4" deep, filled with up to a dozen or so layers of fabric, and faired.

False keel has 5 layers of glass-over the epoxy-filled bottom crack.

Drilled-filled-and redrilled the gudgeon bolt holes to stop water from filling false keel.

Routed, filled and faired the hull/deck joint to stop pesky leaks I've been told about.

Hadn't seen any shots like this posted on Projects page; had to grope around for a solution to the crack problems.
