The shower drain goes through the V-berth sole into a collection pan. The collection pan will be suspended from the sole directly below an access panel. There will be a teak grate directly under the access panel so one is able to stand without falling into the collection pan or bilge. The pan will drain into the shower sump and the sump pumps it overboard from there.
