The Triton One-Design Association of San Francisco Bay invites you to join in the fun. Like you, we appreciate the classic lines, sailing characteristics and history of the Pearson Triton, as well as other Carl Alberg designs.
Our club started in 1963 as a competitive racing club and over the years has matured into a friendly, diverse group of Bay Area Triton owners. Current members are all ages and we vary in sailing skills and experience but we all share an appreciation of these sturdy yet graceful boats.
Whether her lineage is East Coast or West Coast, whether she’s in pristine condition or needs some attention, whether you just bought her or she’s been in your family for generations, we’d like you to join us for the camaraderie that comes with sailing and maintaining these “plastic classics”.
Check out our new web site to learn about our current events, then come by and introduce yourself. We’d like to meet you, your family and your Triton!
Regardless of the condition of your Triton or your sailing experience, our club members have a wealth of information, resources and local, first-hand experience not available anywhere else. Our club is, by far, the best way to not only meet other Triton owners but also to climb aboard and examine other Tritons - there's nothing like seeing how other boat owners have solved the problem you've been scratching your head over!
We enjoy monthly day-sails as well as get-togethers to just compare notes on our projects over pizza and the events are always casual and fun. Our lively monthly breakfast board meetings are open to any members or prospective members, and our club is small enough that every member really does have a voice.
Whether you currently own a Triton or other Alberg design or you have plans to own one in the future, you owe it to yourself to consider membership in the TODSF.
